What I can do for you:

For most speeding tickets and traffic citations in Burke County, I can appear in court for you, saving you from missing a day of work to stand in a long line and a crowded Morganton courtroom, unsure of how to handle your speeding ticket.  The district attorney will not be able to give you legal advice regarding your traffic citation, but as a private attorney, I am glad to do so for you.  In most cases, I can negotiate a lower speed, saving your license and insurance, ask the judge to continue judgment, which may be of particular help to some drivers, or make arrangments to get your charge modified to a non-moving violation, which will not hurt your license or insurance at all.  In some cases, you may have to attend an approved defensive driving class, usually given on a Saturday or weeknight in your area.  We can usually locate an approved class in your area, so you will not have to return to court in Burke County or even North Carolina,  at all.  And, in some cases, we may be able to get your traffic citation dismissed entirely provided you can send us the required documentation.
